A stagecoach party has arrived at Forsyth's Tavern where they are met by the newly appointed sheriff who's very first task is to investigate the murders of the old sheriff and the county judge. The suspects are their traveling companions.

There are no acting skills or script-reading needed to play this game.
Guests will be provided with a letter or diary entries from their character along with their character's personal possessions. After that, it is up to the group to sleuth out what happened or cover up their dastardly deeds.
Sleuthing is tough work sometimes and so snacks and refreshments are included.
Rules
  • Each group must have one Party Host.
  • The Party Host will always become the New Sherriff. They will also assign the remaining roles to their group members.
  • At the start of the game every character will receive an envelope containing secret information just for them. They will read the contents and then store the envelope away for later use.
  • Each character will also find their character's belongings which may contain clues and secret abilities.
  • The group will be tasked to identify the killer among them.
  • Meanwhile, the killer will be working to undermine the group.
  • If you character has been voted by the group as guilty of the crime, or killed by another player, you will be out of the game. The remaining characters will be able to read your secret letter and determine if they were right or if the killer is still along them.
  • The game continues until the killer is caught or no other characters remain.
Special Skills
  • The Sherriff has the ability to arrest suspects and take their possessions.
  • The Killer has the ability to eliminate players from the game.
  • Some other plays will have the ability save players from elimination.
