It is our goal at the Forsyth-Warren Farm to restore our historic farmstead to working conditions and we intend to do this with the best permaculture farming methods available to us. We invite the public to work hand-in-hand with us and learn with us as we redevelop this small-scale frontier farm.
Did you know?

Bacterium in healthy soils called Mycobacterium vaccae triggers the release of serotonin, which lifts mood and reduces anxiety. Something as simple as digging in dirt can be benifitial to our emotional health.
So what is Permaculture Farming?

Permaculture gives farmers a way to achieve high yields and productivity while doing it in a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly way than conventional farming methods. It applies a more holistic approach to farming crops or livestock.
What can be learned from a Frontier farm?

Contrary to popular belief a family can be self sustaining on as little as one quarter acre and can still have a beautiful place to call home. It only takes the right knowledge, some hard work, and time.
