More about our situation:
On March 18, 2020, the Town of Cambria attempted to strong-arm the owners of the Forsyth-Warren Farm into agreeing to new conditions on the operating permits that granted the farm permission to be open to the public; which would have given the Town of Cambria immense control over the daily operations and future planning of the Farm and Museum.
When the owners refused to accept these new conditions, the Town of Cambria flexed its political power and filed a SLAP suit against the owners while simultaneously serving a Cease and Desist and then subsequently revoking all permits for the historic Forsyth-Warren Farm and Museum.
These actions by the Town of Cambria have made the site's future unclear.
What we are doing about it:
There is a pending court date for the revocation of the property's Zoning Permits.
Correcting this retaliatory actions by the Town of Cambria will not be enough to reopen the site to the public and further court cases will likely be required; bringing with them a long and costly battle for both sides.
How can you help:
We are currently still maintaining the Forsyth-Warren Farm; so please support our roadside Farmstand.
