                                                                   Dear Grandma
Dear Grandma I take this opportunity to write to you
to let you know that we are all well and in good
spirits except I have got a bad cough Aunt Mary’s
folks are all well and I think in good spirits
to and now she is making up and living with the
Cloths so that she can be ready to come East in
the spring with mother if she comes for aunt
Mary wants to come and I hope that they can
but come Grandma I go to school this winter
on our side and we have an excellent school to
I study geography arithmetic and grammar and I
Am tring to learn something this winter   Ezra goes
To and he studys grammar and arithmetic
And Edda would like to go to but it is so far that
he cant    he talks a great deal about the folks east
and about little Elda and not so much about 333
little luther for he has not heard me tell quite as
much about his cunning tricks for he was not old
enough to be as cunning as Ella   Grandma I have not
writen to you before because I have not had any thing
to write about before untill to day and so I thought
that to day I would write for thanksgiving has
past Christmas and Newyears to  We had no doings
here neither time    Christmas  mother went over to town
and bought me a very nice bible and a new
pair of shoes  We have had snow for a good
while until now it is thougsing  we have not had
very cold weather   Grandma we have got an excel-
ent girl   her name is Lahah Hagen she has ben with
mother a great while we all think every thing of her
for she is so kind and good to all and is so faithful
to her work   all of uncle Harves boys go to school I have
have not got any samples down yet no I have not
worked a stitch on it yet grandma   Edela is as fat as
a little pig him and little Herburt thinks a
great deal of each other. Herburt goes to school and
learns fast    grandma I thank you for my shall over and over
                                grandma tell harriet that I have not
                                seen Elmer yet not herd from him
give my love to miniees folks and uncle Henrys
uncle Edmonds  aunt emmiays and Harriets folks
and to Mr. Mighells and tell them that we are all well
