The Forsyth-Warren Farm was purchased by Dr. Lizbeth Booth and her son Tyler Booth in 2017. At that time, the property had been abandoned for over a decade and at risk for demolition. The Booth family has stewarded this historic site for the last five years and has invested a great deal of time and resources into preserving and improving this integral historic resource.
The property is currently zoned Agricultural-Residential (AR) and can be utilized as a single family residence if a kitchen is installed. There were plans to reconstruct the c. 9th century kitchen wing on the eastern side of the historic tavern which would provide ample space for all 21st century kitchen needs without taking away from the historic authenticity of the building.

This historic site also contains the Forsyth-Warren Cemetery. (approximately .04 acres) New York State law requires that this cemetery be maintained and kept accessible to the ancestors of the Forsyth-Warren Family as well as any other families with/or believed to have members interred within the cemetery. An easement additionally requires that this private cemetery be maintained and kept accessible to the public. There is an existing parking lot and driveway in place to accommodate this requirement *For any additional requirements, please check with the Town of Cambria.*
There are two abutting barns with a c.20the century milk house and a c.20th century shed attached, which combined create a large barn complex. Half of this complex was previously used as retail space and underwent a structural analysis and repair by Dominic and Daughters Frame & Foundation Specialists of Corfu, New York. That section received a new metal roof, new floors, increased structural trusses and the foundation was re-mortared. The remaining sections will require substantial repairs.
The property currently contains two (2) tenants with leases due to expire in the year 2025.
