Join us inside the historic Forsyth-Warren Tavern for a hands-on Turkey Wing Broom Workshop, where you’ll learn how early Americans crafted these elegant, fan-shaped hand brooms—a staple for keeping the hearth clean and the mantle tidy. Using natural broom corn and traditional binding techniques, you’ll create your own artisan-style turkey wing broom to take home. Equal parts functional hearth tool and beautiful piece of folk art. What to Expect: • Guided instruction in a cozy 18th-century tavern setting • All materials included • A fun, educational experience for history lovers and makers alike Registration: Space is extremely limited with only 10 spots available. $40 per person.
